World Education, Ghana

Between 4th-7th July, 2016, Palm Institute trained field officers, technicians and monitoring and evaluation officers of World Education, Ghana in the following areas:

  • Leadership and Team Building
  • Gender Equality
  • Project Management
  • Leadership and Governance
  • Stress Management and Workplace Productivity
  • Emotional Intelligence
  • Managing Self

Following our hands-on training philosophy, we used relevant training tools and techniques tailored towards the needs of the industry (non-profit - education and training - rural Ghana) to train the employees.

Between August, 2015 and September, 2015, Palm Institute of Strategic Leadership led by Dr. Peter Carlos Okantey won a very competitive bid to consult for then Mobile Business Clinic (MBC) now Mobile Business Clinic (MBC) Africa. The core purpose of the consultancy was for Palm Institute to assess the curricula of both Mobile Business Clinic (MBC) and Young Fellows Program (YFP) to drive optimal results. Particularly, our consulting team was tasked to:

  • Review the entire curriculum frameworks of MBC and YFP and
  • Prepare course materials for MBC and YFP

The above main goals coupled with all the detailed deliverables in the terms of reference were achieved within the stipulated time period for the project. Based on the quality of our delivery and upon the satisfaction of the Management of MBC and YFP, all the curricula we reviewed have been used thereafter for all the business clinics across Ghana.

Additionally, our expert recommendations which were grounded in the empirical evidences we gathered throughout the review process have better positioned both MBC and YFP and are being implemented.
